Materials & Sizing

  • 70% Silk & 30% Nylon
  • Top quality silk is lightweight and opaque
  • Stockings come up above the knee, and stay up without garters
  • Will fit women's shoe sizes US 6+
  • Maximum stretch circumference at top is approximately 21 inches / 53 cm. However, we find that they are more comfortably worn when stretched to no more than 17 inches / 46 cm at the top. For wider legs, cut the top band off, fold the edge and finish with loose zig-zag handstitches, and wear with a ribbon garter for an excellent historical touch!

First, let me say these stayed up all by themselves. I lost both my garters while still getting ready around the hotel room and only knew when my mister found one and I hiked my skirts up to see my stockings were in place and the garters both gone. They're a little big on my feet (size 6 1/2-7) and a little loose in the ankles/calves, but I plan to take them in like the tutorial shows. I definitely recommend these! Even being a bit too large, they stayed up while on my feet all day without garters.

Such a smooth fit and today I wore them and accidentally lost one garter, but to my best surprise, the stocking held in place with its own elastic upper :)

What beautiful and comfortable stockings! So amazed that they truly stayed up all day without garters even with all the walking and dancing. I purchased both clocked and plain and love them both!
